High-Pressure Water Mist Systems

As a means of fire suppression, high-pressure water mist systems
are widely considered the No. 1 ‘green’ sustainable solution to protect buildings

Water mist for use in fire protection is defined by EN 14972 1: 2020 as a fine water spray with a high fraction of very fine droplets in the range of mist and in which 90% of the volume of the spray is distributed in droplets less than 1000 microns in diameter. High-pressure water mist systems can produce droplets in the range of 50-200 microns. The main fire suppression mechanisms associated with water mist are heat extraction, oxygen displacement and dilution of fuel vapour, and radiation attenuation.

When water is applied to a fire, heat is absorbed from three main areas: the hot gases and flames, the fuel, and the objects and surfaces in the vicinity of the fire. Heat extraction (or cooling) refers to removing heat from the combustion zone due to water evaporation. and which is enhanced due to the fine droplet sizes of the water mist. The flame will be extinguished when the flame temperature is reduced below the critical value necessary to sustain combustion. The water mist also reduces the pyrolysis or gasification rate of the fuels, resulting in a vapour-air mixture below the lower flammability, leading to flame extinguishment.

DATA CENTRE
APPLICATION

The uniqueness of water mist is that it combines the suppression effect of gas and traditional sprinkler systems. As well
as removing the oxygen like a gas system, it simultaneously cools the fire like a traditional sprinkler. The cooling effect
additionally lowers the risk of re-ignition.

DG SET PROTECTION

Safeguarding diesel generators, control panels, and fuel storage areas from fire hazards, ensuring continuous operation during power outages or emergencies

Data Centers

An optimal solution for fire suppression in healthcare environments. This system combines effective fire suppression with minimal water usage, ensuring the safety of patients and staff while protecting critical infrastructure.

MUSEUM AND HERITAGE BUILDING

Innovative technology, combined with its ability to minimize water usage and environmental impact, makes it an essential choice for protecting these irreplaceable structures and their contents.

TUNNEL
APPLICATION
High-pressure water mist systems provide instant cooling in the fire zone, suppressing the spread of flames and allowing ventilation systems to keep operating.
HIGH RISE
BUILDING

High-pressure water mist systems are an ideal choice for covering a wide range of hazard areas, including EV parking lots, kitchens, electrical and utility areas.

METRO / RAILWAYS OR APPLICATION

Fire protection is challenging due to their enclosed spaces, high passenger density, and the presence of electrical and mechanical equipment.

PAINT BOOTH
APPLICATION
By High pressure water mist, Faster activation of system can be achieved immediately, containing the fire and minimizing toxic fume release, ensuring the safety of workers and compliance with environmental regulations.
AIRPORT / AIRCRAFT HANGAR APPLICATION

It is a preferred choice for modern airport infrastructures worldwide. By investing in such innovative fire protection systems, airports not only prioritize safety but also demonstrate a commitment to sustainability and operational resilience in the face of potential fire emergencies.
